Carriage Inc., the manufacturer of mid-to-highline towables, has
introduced a “more aggressive price point” series of travel trailers and
fifth-wheels called the Compass.

The Compass travel trailer will retail from the upper $20,000s to
the mid-$30,000s, and the Compass fifth-wheel will cost from $30,000 to
the upper $30,000s, according to Greg Kitson, director of engineering.

The Compass travel trailer comes in two double-slide floorplans,
both with bedroom suites, and one single-slide floorplan. Lengths range
from 30 to 32 feet and total dry weights range from 7,560 to 8,540
pounds.

Compass fifth-wheels come in 27- to 35-foot floorplans. There are
27- and 32-foot double-slide floorplans and one 35-foot quadruple-slide
floorplan. All other Compass fifth-wheel floorplans are triple-slides.

Total dry weights for the Compass fifth-wheel range from 9,245
pounds for the 27-footer to 12,185 pounds for the 35-foot quad-slide
floorplan.
