Believing that spending time in the outdoors benefits body, mind and spirit, the Coleman
Company Inc. has partnered with Camp Mak-A-Dream to provide camping opportunities for
cancer-stricken youngsters. This special one-week youth camp in Montana is a medically
supervised experience, free of cost for the many children, young adults and families
affected by cancer. At the camp, the kids can enjoy hiking, horseback riding, fishing,
swimming, making s’mores around the campfire, gazing up at the stars – all the things that
healthy kids do at normal camps. Its objective is to help these children and their families
alleviate the stress of treatments and hospitals through the power of the outdoors.
