Dodge Adds Hemi to Ram 1500

Dodge will offer the 345-hp Hemi 5.7-liter V-8 in the Ram 1500 soon,
making it the “most powerful engine option offered in a mass produced
light-duty pickup truck,” according to Dodge. The engine is a $795
option and will be available with Dodge’s five-speed automatic.
New Ram heavy-duty 2500 and 3500 trucks already have the engine installed.
