Eliminating Vehicle Blind Spots

For 2007, the Hummer H2 SUT has an optional camera that is housed in its
rear bumper. This, according to the company, makes it much safer to
back up and easier to hitch a trailer

The device has a 3.5-inch full-color video display. With the
transmission in reverse, the device deploys from the side of the mirror.
This allows the driver a better view behind the vehicle, day or night.
When the transmission is shifted into drive, the display retracts into
the mirror.
