Fee-Free Park Entrance on Veterans Day

November 12, 2010
Filed under National Parks, Trailer News

Day-use fees at many federally managed lands will be waived today, November 11, 2010, to celebrate Veterans Day, to honor our nation’s veterans and to encourage all Americans to visit our national parks.

There are 392 national parks located across the country in 49
states, many of which will hold free events on Veterans Day.

There are many other parks that never have entrance fees, so you can plan a free visit year-round. Check out www.nps.gov for more information.
