Ford has announced it will install anti-rollover systems on several of
its popular SUV lines, starting with 2005 models. Called roll-stability
control, it will be standard in the Explorer, Mercury Mountaineer,
Lincoln Aviator and Lincoln Navigator, and will be optional on the Ford
Expedition.

Roll-stability control is an electronic system that uses the brakes to rebalance the vehicle once it begins to skid.
