Ford Plans New Engines

Ford is developing new engines of interest to trailerists. A 4.5-liter V-6 diesel and a
6.0-liter V-8 diesel are in the works and will be built by Navistar. Look for the V-8 in
2003 on trucks over 8,500 pounds. The V-6 will debut in 2002 in Expeditions, F-series and
E-series trucks under 8,500 pounds.
