Ford Plans to Update F-150 Pickup

Ford is expected to redesign its popular F-150 pickup trucks next year.
The F-150 will feature a new 5.4-liter, 3-valve Triton V-8 engine
that produces 300 peak hp, which is a 15-percent improvement over the
previous 5.4-liter engine. In addition, the new engine will offer
improvements in low-speed power and peak torque, as well as greater fuel
efficiency.
The Super Duty series may also get updated in 2006.
