GM Displays AuraGen on Its 2000 GMC Sierra Truck

General Motors Pontiac-GMC Division displayed the AuraGen Mobile Generator system at the
SEMA trade show debut of its 2000 GMC Professional Sierra Show Truck. The SEMA (Specialty
Equipment Marketing Association) Show was held recently at the Las Vegas Exhibition Center.
The AuraGen Mobile Generator system is an under-the-hood, engine-driven generator capable
of providing up to 5,000 watts of continuous, pure sine wave, 60 Hz, 120/240 volts of AC
power for operating any type of equipment, from the most sensitive digital computer to a
large air compressor. The system provides the same quality of electrical power whether the
vehicle is stationary or mobile. Systems are available ($4,200 to $4,500 installed) for a
