Elkhart, Indiana-based RV manufacturer Gulf Stream Coach is preparing to help provide
temporary housing for victims of Hurricane Katrina.

The company has been in contact with
the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), which is trying to determine how many units
will be needed for the storm victims. There is speculation that Gulf Stream and other
manufacturers may need to hire additional temporary laborers to assist current employees in
meeting the demand.
