A vintage 1966 DeCamp travel trailer cruises up and down the New England fine art fair circuit carrying precious oil paintings by artist, Kristina Wentzell. In the summer of 2012, Wentzell and her husband bought this retro trailer, and removed the closets and appliances during the renovation process. Saving the original birch panels, Wentzell affectionately uses those as gallery walls. The Happy Camper Mobile Gallery sprung from Wentzell’s desire to find new ways to share her art with the world and says with so many mobile businesses, like food trucks, a mobile art display was the next logical step. If you’re not going to be on the East Coast anytime soon, Wentzell’s website lists paintings for sale, including a selection of 100 paintings for $100 or less.

Yes! I love seeing these trailers promoted! I have restored many of these with one even ending up in Hollywood! Decided to persue a dream and do this for a living. Tough to start but I am getting there. Even trying the crowd funding approach. On this page you will find links to some of my restores. No need to donate, just wanted to share!
