New Blazers on the Horizon

General Motors is planning a makeover for the Blazer as a 2001 model. It should be larger
and roomier. GM may offer a new 4.2-liter in-line engine soon, probably at its
introduction. This engine would replace the venerable 4.3-liter V-6, which was derived from
the small-block Chevy that was introduced in September 1954.
