2551267_RVingEasy_CoverII.jpgLynne and Dana Massie don’t want you to take a tree out with your travel trailer’s extended
antenna. They wouldn’t want you to get caught wet and soapy in your lavatory’s shower when
the water flow stops. And they’d like to spare you the cold misery of standing outside in a
blizzard to measure the height of your rig.

As beginning RVers, mother (Lynne) and daughter
(Dana) experienced these incidents and more – some of them embarrassing, some of them
expensive – on a 1,600-mile trip from Olympia, Washington, to Denver, Colorado, in their
new motorhome.

Finding most user’s manuals too complicated, the women learned by doing -
and by talking with other RV owners during their journey. Out of these experiences came
RV’ing Made Easy,” a spiral-bound guidebook in which they share their
lessons, stories and handy tips.

In its 260 pages, “RV’ing Made Easy” gives novices (and
even experienced RVers) the facts – interspersed with fun – about the world of RVing. The
book is easy – from its conversational tone to its large, easy-to-read type to its
alphabetically organized chapters.

Among the topics covered are air conditioning, backing
up, electrical power, generator, hills, hoses, propane, roof vents, slideouts, storing your
RV and winter weather.

Tips, tricks and other educational information are offered
throughout the book, some illustrated with photographs. Dana Massie shares her trick for
pulling off an 11-minute shower (with 6 gallons of hot water in most RVs, a 5-minute hot
shower is the norm, they write). You’ll learn why “dry camping” doesn’t mean you’ll be
parched, and the many uses for duct tape.

“RV’ing Made Easy” is available in RV bookstores
for $29.95 and may also be purchased online at www.rvingmadeeasy.com for $24.95.
