Q. We have a (fill in the blank) model-year vehicle. How do we determine its tow rating? A. You can contact the vehicle manufacturer’s customer-service department, check towing guides that are available from the manufacturer at dealerships, or you can check our online annual tow-rating guides, which is a compilation of these ratings done for your convenience. If the specific issue you are looking for is not online, you can call (805) 667-4366 for information on how to order a copy, or email us at info@trailerlife.com. To order tow-rating guides, you only need to provide the year in which you are interested, as well as your full name and address; copies are $3.95 each. Towing guides are available from 1984 to the present.
