I had an 85 Toyota 4Runner, it weighed 3800 lbs for the trail. My current rig is an FToy; tube chassis, alloy wheels, 37" tires, no sheetmetal, lots of goodies. It scales at 2950 lbs, ready for the trail, no driver. I don't think you'll have a Jeep under 3K, and a Sammy will be close to 3K.

Didn't have this info with me yesterday.
Two examples...
2006 2500HD DA EC SB 4wd chevy and 2008 Ragen FA3005 Gelcoat, gear for three, 4x6volt batteries, full propane, full water tank, empty grey tank, 5 gallons water in black, 40 gallons in fuel tank. 2 dirt bikes crossways in rear -KTM 525 EXC and KTM 200 EXC. Loaded for a week trip. Lots of beer and food. Firewood, propane and 15 gallons mixed gas in pickup bed.
Truck Front axle 4400
Truck Rear Axle 6540
Trailer front axle 5660
Trailer 2nd axle 5820
#2 Three bikes mostly the same for 3 day trip, water not full - not as much food, beer and pre-mix or spare propane.
Truck front axle 4340
Truck rear axle 6240
Trailer front axle 5260
Trailer rear axle 5520
Used the same Washington State freeway scale for measurement.
Have several more scale records but they are very similar....I have had the rear axle up to 6820 with grey and black tanks partially full on a return trip before learning to load bikes crossways and to the rear to lighten the PIN a bit.
Just don't think you have enough capacity or space to haul a Sammy plus 2 dirt bikes if you bring food/beer, gear, fuel, and water.

One thing not mentioned is the need for "drive on" wheel well box. Factory offered them as an option. Without this option you would need to beef up the wheel well opening so the sidewall doesn't sag/seperate due to the load.

I think the tires will fit in between them.
I just can't believe it...........
I guess I can't buy a jeep of some sort and bring my little girls off-roading.
Well ..... it will save me money , I won't have to sell my other truck and I can just borrow my bros. 250 honda EX (quad) and give them rides around camp on that......

I've been told the fiberglass adds 1000-1200 Lbs.
Have you thought about a four seat side by side like a modified Yamaha Rhino in place of a jeep?

Instead of a jeep, have you considered a side-by-side?
