Just a few comparisons for ya! Both Jayco and Gulfstream are independent companies that have built quality RV's for many years, Jayco for 41 and GS for 35 years.
The chassis-The Jayco Embark has a 33000 lb GVWR, which means you an load 7000 lbs more of your stuff into it compared to the GS before going overweight. The Gulfstream Super Nova has a GVWR of 25,900 lbs. Embark has more torque at 1000 lb and a Cummins ISC 330HP engine, and an 3200 series Allison automatic, air suspension and a 20,000lb tow rating. The Super Nova has an International Diesel with 300 hp and just 530 lbs torque, and a smaller Allison 2500 series tranny, and a 15,000 hitch rating.
The "Meat and Potatoes"-So obviousily you get more Truck! And standard on the Jayco both A/C's are 13,500 BTU, (GF has a 13.5K and a 11K) tinted safety glass and R-25 insulation, electric powered awning, dual fuel tanks, a 26" TV with dvd surround sound cd am-fm in living room and a bedroom 19" bedroom LCD, Roof Ladder, Satellite prep, powered fantastic fan, day/nite shades, in the cab is a LCD GPS Navigatior WITH DVD surround soundand rear cam, an outdoor entertainment system with a 32" LCD TV DVD/cd/Stero am/fm, side hinged cargo doors, etc. All are standard. Real Oak interior drawers and cabinet drawers, and furniture made by Jayco.
And you get a better warranty with Jayco's 2 years! From the worlds largest Family owned RV manufacturer...
A Jayco is not just an RV, it's a life choice!

No comparison. The Frieghtliner chassis is much better than the International. IMO the IH is under powered on the larger units. Finish in the models may be slightly better on the Jayco.

Now that I settled on the Embark,I have one more question and that concerns my 2005 4X$ Xplorer Xcursion.I need to know the best place to sell a specialized vehicle like that.I have recently completed a total renovation of the cabinets, appliances ,heating system and hot water system. It now has all diesel appliances ,an Espar Hydronic heater for hot water & heat and also an Espar Airtronic for heat. There is also a new Isotemp ac/hydronic hot water heater. There is three 100 watt solar collectors with 4 Lifeline batteries and a load of additional improvments.

I have a GS superc 07 with bunk beds in slide. Knew this coach would be challanging but wife bought anyway. Gulfstream has no factory service or support. I have been to their headquarters in Indiana and they would not talk about any issues then pointed me out the door to look at their new units. Opened a storage compartment and the lining inside was all wet just like mine. We like their Supernova. I looked at one in Elkhart, opened storage compartmens, all wet. Looked at one in Georgia and guess what. Wet storage compartments. Gulfstream sent me to RV one for warranty service. When I got there they denied payment for most issues. Loudly Squeaking when driving where cab cut-off joins body, leaking storage compartments, all interior moldings falling off, water heater poor Suburban said it was probably broken internally during installation so it wasn't their problem. furnace vents not hooked to plenum. I could go on and on but having been in the RV service business for 30 years I can repair or re-egineer this piece of******if I live that long
