You can use an even simpler thermostat for a Jayco since you can only control the furnace with it, the AC is a ceiling dial.

As long as it's powered by AA batteries it's probably going to work.

An obscure internet search program called Google (or similar) turned this up in less time than I bet it took me to type this message (or yours).

Just to let you guys know, I exchanged the thermostat that was giving me the ERR message with the same model from Walmart. I don't know if it makes a difference or not, but the faulty one had a 2008 date code. The new one has a 2009 date code and is working great. I guess the first one was just no good.

Thanks again for your suggestions.

Can someone tell me if the Hunter 42999B also supports Celsius. I want to change the thermostat in my new Roo to this and want to ensure it will show temperatures in Celsius. No offense to my American friends but 70 degrees means nothing to me LOL

If someone could check I would really appreciate it.

Claude

Inside there is a dip switch that you can flip to celsius. Good luck.

I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was going to blame you.

I know people are modifying the Hunter thermostats to add a hi/lo switch. Does anyone know if there is a thermostat with a hi/lo fan switch already installed?

Not really a modification, just a switch. Les Adams, who published the first article on this, mounted his switch to the base and the rest of us just copied him as best we could. The switch can go anywhere.

So is this thermostat programmable or remote control operated? Always wanted a thermostat that would crank up the heat on those cold mornings. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Hunter makes an automatic setback version. Don't know about a remote control version; my camper ain't that big.
