i say you have this when you have an owner who also plays Gm. this team mirrors the raiders the redskins will be next. the owner should take care of the money and not picking players because it hasn't worked for none of the 3.

As much as I dislike Jerry Jones, he is committed to winning by putting the money where his ego and mouth is.

As far as hiring a general manager, the good ones are few and far apart. Winning 3 Super Bowls in 4 years is something that Seattle, San Diego, Tampa, Jacksonville, Carolina, Chicago, Cincinatti, Cleveland, Minnesota, Buffalo, Green Bay, St. Louis (last year was their 1st. 10 game season since 1976), Washington, N.Y. and Detroit, all with G.M.'s that could only dream of being like Dallas. His and Jimmy Johnson's ego got in the way of winning 3 consecutive Super Bowls, a feat that I don't ever see happening by any team.

Someone metioned Bill Parcell's. His glory day's were with the Giant's. Look for him to suddenly leave Miami. He left Dallas hanging his last year and quit coaching early that year. He intentionally stayed that last year so that Sean Payton would move to New Orleans. N.O.'s may now be on to becoming a good/great team after nearly 40 years of being inept.

I think one of the main problems is that these professional players are all overpaid. They hold out for big bucks and are given it even without having to show it. The second problem is of course Jerry Jones. If all the owners were made to stay in their boxes watching and kept off the field things would run smoother!

I love Jerry Jones. Money solves everything - in time. At least he's not an absentee owner behind the curtain. However, firing T.O. was the most boneheaded decision of last season.

Which Romo will show-up in Denver? Because it's time for him to lose another one.....

BTW, who is this Williams 'receiver guy?'

Although I correctly predicted calling the NY Giants game by two points over Dallas, I'll stay with Denver for Sunday's game. -I believe it's time for Romo to lose another one.

I blame Jerry Jones for being too stingy to go out and hire a really good quarterback. Romo aint got it. When the chips are down a really good quarterback grits his teeth and creates a miracle. Romo just gives up.

And I blame the City of Arlington, Texas - for enabling the Cowboys to build a shrine to excess.....? And, when has a major sports franchise on Randol Mill Road ever won anything? It'll likely be a loong time before the Arlington Cowboys win another Superbowl.
