Hi All!

I need to put new tires on my tow vehicle (2002 F250 superduty diesel). I was wondering what has worked best with you folks on your tow vehicles. I am towing a 36ft Cougar with a 10,000lb dry weight. I currently have BFG A/T's on my truck. They were a good tire but wore out fairly quickly. Your feedback would be most appreciated.

I use BFG A/T's and have 60,000 miles on them and expect to get at least another 20,000 miles out of them. These are my second set, the factory original tires (BFG's as well)ran for 50,000 miles before I had to replace them. I noticed that when I was shopping for the current set of tires I was being offered "D" load range as replacements instead of the "E" range the truck requires. I also went to bilstein shocks and added air bags in the rear.

I'm running Michelin LTX M&S "E" rated tires on sig. TV. Handles great, still look almost brand new with 30,000 miles on them and give the truck great traction.

I put a set of Hercules Terra Trac A/T on my GM2500HD. E rating. I have been very happy with them. Very little wear after 50,000 KM. My truck is my daily driver, no off road but the tires work well with my truck unloaded or pulling my 28' Terry 5th. Will probably get a replacement set in the spring. These tires were also reasonably priced. As I recall about $190 Cd/tire.
