I run the Predator in my 05 Duramax, and it works very good.
Adding anymore than 40 HP you are asking for transmission issues.
You can add 400 HP to this engine without ANY worries about the tranny. It is an Allison for crying out loud !!!!!
Do you think that a tranny that is used in a tank would get hurt by a hopped up diesel engine?????
Good one! The Abrams tank has like nearly 3,000 lbs of torque. So, go for it - triple your engine's output and see what happens to your tanny...

Yup the Allison is a great trans but add more than 75 HP and you are asking for problems with it. The TC is a problem when adding big HP. Floor it durring the 3-4, 4-5, or 5-6 gear shifts frequently and you will throw a code in just a few weeks (don't ask me how I know this). You will burn the C3 clutches with just a 100 HP tune. In stock form it is not set up to hold with that much torque. If you can add some clamping power by just adding a good shift kit like Transgo Jr. Then you are probably good to 450 HP.

I installed EGT & Boost gauges in my truck along with the AFE Intake system and a 4" exhaust system and I also have both the Predator and the Hypertech and have towed many miles with both.
My last trip to the mountains was the first time towing in the mountains with the Predator.
I had to remove the Predator program and go back to the Hypertech because of very high EGT's. The Hypertech on the 60HP setting has done very well and I don't have any high EGT concerns.
