Couple week trip coming up and weather looks like we will see a lot of rain. Looking for things for two Sr. citizens to do. I figure dominos and TV will only go so far.

This year we had 19 days without rain in the first three months of our trip. We did play some games a couple of times and watched some DVD’s but we ended up donning rain gear and went out to see the sites on several occasions. Lots of our photos have rain in them. We visited several museums and other tourist activities.

Try reading! Most RV parks/cg have at least a few books to loan out.
Or as said before - explore in the rain/snow!

We us, rainy days were harder when we were fulltiming. We handle it a lot better now that we have much more indoor space. I enjoy working on my boat and fishing tackle, inside our big garage, while watching the speed channel on DirectTV. My wife stays busy with all her quilting equipment, and space. We both like to cook, and we do some of that on rainy days also.
It sure looks like the Texas drought is over. It's been raining off/on for several weeks. Today, it's raining,....perfect for grilling (porch BBQ grille), margaritas, and watching NHRA and NASCAR.
As far as our RVing days go, rain doesn't bother us too much because we mostly do "destination" trips,...no camping. And, if we're on a fishing trip, we've got suitable rain gear for that (rain doesn't bother the boat).

Rainy days.....ahh
Staying in bed, snuggling....know what I mean
Putting a 500/1000/1500 piece puzzle together
Playing a couple of games of Backgammon
Bundling up and go play in the rain....never to late to 'be a kid'
Crawling back in bed & snuggling....

If it's raining good enough, we clean the roof of the trailer, do the sides, even clean the truck. Rain water is good soft water.

Otherwise read, watch TV, surf the net.

We should have a hall of fame posts thread here, and that one should be at the top.
