At home we garden a lot or ride bikes, hike, walk and lift a few weights. If the weather is bad we can use the cross-country machine, stationery bike, rower, cruncher, etc.
On the road I suppose it would be a lot of hiking and we could take a few lightweights along.
So, how do you stay in shape while RVing?

Well. at home I did not do any of those things.. but where I happen to be sitting to where I prefer to sit when internetting is about 1/2 mile... And it involves going over a bridge that is a bit high (Meaning steep crossing) and when I started this summer, I'd downshift the bike to low range, and sometimes even drop a gear or two on the six-geared wheel.
Now I'm sailing over it in mid-range. (I keep the back gear about the middle most all the time.
My theory (Feel free to disbelieve this) is that the bicycle bearings are getting polished and lubed up better as I add Tri-Flow and thus the bike is getting easier to pedal.
Oh, you don't agree... Well, that's ok.. It sure is getting easier to pedal.

We walk, hike, & bike while on vacations. When on the road, we at least take breaks every few hours to keep our legs from getting too stiff.

At home I sit on my tail or garden a bit. On the road I bring a bike and hike. I'm in much better shape when out. I go to interesting places and hike.
When there's a lull I ride my bike. I don't have a gym. Too many friends have left the mortal coil early from overdoing it.

LOL If someone is rving and not getting exercise, and more than at home, then IMO, they are doing something wrong. Just keeping up the maintenance, if done properly, will keep you fit. Instead of hiring the limo to take you around town, try walking or biking.

Some type of cardio exercise every day - regardless of where I'm at in the country. Can be done in a variety of ways dependant on your locale.
I have a sweet tender nature, however I enjoy sharing my thoughts and opinions.

Our Dog "Montana" has to have a lot of exercise, and we walk, and of course we always take our bikes. And try to stay were there are excercise equipment or locate a YMCA or a workout center. There is always a way to get plenty of exercise. GBY....

For DW and I, it amounts to not too much at home but when RVing, we do alot of walking and bike riding. More fun to excercise in the park then at home.
