Moore's Old Pine Inn is our favorite place to stay and until we moved her this IS where we stayed.
This is a fabulous bed and breakfast and the finest hotel within 100's of miles and it's in the center of Marysvale.
We will soon decide on a possible date for those who might be interested in scheduling in advance.

Rubiranch, Man that looks great. What month was this picture taken and how long does it last before snow fall approx. I almost want to take the kids out school just to experience it. How cold does it get. You get to see that every year. Wow.

Fall is a beautiful time of year to visit Marysvale and the Paiute Trail.
That pic was taken Sept 18 of this year. Lovebug and I couldn't have picked a better day for this ride.
Fall colors and how long they last are dependent on two things, moisture and temperature.
The third week in Sept seems to be about the best time here in Utah for fall colors, maybe we should consider moving the rendezvous up a few weeks.
Fall is colder in the high country; it was rainy and cold that day - probably in the mid 50's that day.

This is where we took the picture of Barney Lake from.

This picture was taken at the lake where we stopped and ate lunch.
It was about 2:30 in the afternoon and temps had dropped considerably and it started to rain.
The weather is very unpredictable.

We're good with sept. Heck, we're good with any time in the fall.
And I really liked that bed and breakfast - looked worthy of leaving our 5er at home...Although we really like our own bed...

The Inn and Inn Keepers are impeccable. If there was a 5-star rating they would get 10.
The rooms are spotless and the feather top queen size beds are very comfy and 1st class. I understand they're not your bed but we have stayed there numerous times without ever a worry.

At this point it looks like this get together will happen the week of Oct 4th, 2010.
I personally feel that the best times to visit Marysvale and the Paiute Trail is after July 24th because all of the trails are usually open by then.
July is the hottest month with the average high temp close to 90º with temps reaching 100º and the average low in the 50s and the trails are very dusty.
Oct the average high is 68º and the average low is 32º.
Regardless of the time of year you still need to carry extra coats and rain gear, come prepared.

This pic was taken July 19, 2008 at 12:30 PM.
We were hiding from the sun under these Junipers and it was 97º.

Here we are 2 hours later is a freezing hail storm.
Come prepared regardless of the time of year.

Is Marysvale the town where everything is by Tuggs? When I was there it seemed that everytime I asked where something was it was either next, across or behind Tuggs.
