that depends, comming from the App Store prices start around $2.99 & go up some are way up

on the web from independent developers, some are free, most are inexpensive and the really good ones cost $20-$30

these are Avg values from my experiences with windows mobile & BB devices. BB apps have tendecny to cost more than WinMo apps, i expect Android apps from the web to run the same gamut as WinMo apps

Adroid Apps from VZW-google app store will be a bit more polished and aimed at specific market segments, Gaming or Sophiscated buiness apps and cost more like $19-$49 price range

these are NOT set in stone numbers just guide lines
I expect to see a lot of low cost & free apps online

Options, always have options, and the journey goes much smoother

i have 3 pages of apps on my iphone... i only get the free ones and most of the ones that are on there are on there JIC.

the developers are making some money on advertising for the free apps (banner adds on the buttom or top of screen)

I have most free apps and a couple .99 apps... Apple having there finger over the kill button is something others are thinking of doing. Allow rogue apps can cause major problems. Do you really want that free app you downloaded from who knows where, sending your phone information all over... THen you would have to get spyware and virus apps for your phone...

If it holds true to the expectations, I'll be first in line. I've wante an iPhone for a long time, but I will NOT go to ATT. But if I can get the features of the iPhone, on Verizon's superior network I'm there! Anybody else?

I'll be second in line. I have both an iPhone, Verizon phone and Verizon Air Card. Need the Verizon(s) for the network coverage. I gladly pitch the iPhone if the Droid is the "real deal"
