Does anyone know of a website that can be found with a list of places to empty the black/gray water tanks.
I am still new to RVing and went on my first weekend out (NASCAR race) and they wanted $40 dollars to dump them. I know it cant really cost that much normally.

All Flying J's have dump stations (well almost all, some are out of order)and it's FREEE! I think some Petro stations also have free dump stations.

Most Motorcoach (bus) companies have dump facilities. ie Grayline in Nashville charged $25 for a bus dump a couple of week ago.

There is a book called RVers Friend that we use. It lists dump sites and has lots of other good info. Price is about $15.00.

Some RV Parks/campgrounds will also allow dumping for small charge. I know of someone that takes RV to same ballgames we've been going to this fall and a private RV Park lets him dump for $10.
I have sewer cleanout so I bring my "stuff" home and dump it

Hotbyte and I are of the same mind on dumping. If I can't get it done at the campground before we leave, I just take care of it when we get home. It's nice to have a cleanout just 10 feet from the driveway!

Hello Cricket & Sam. From the top of my head - 1st= RV campsites; 2nd= Interstate rest areas (signs will tell you if equipped with a dump site); 3rd= all of your Flying J Truckstops with 'RV ISLAND'.
Hope this helps.
