I'm not a full timer either, I walk and pick up litter, when Jazz walks me I have to move at her speed, the bending, either at the waist or knees while picking up litter is a plus. Bill

We walk more. This includes parking way out in the parking lot when we shop, walking through malls, nature trails, the rv park, etc. Ride bikes, wash and wax the rig myself. Going up and down the ladder is execise as well as the "wax on...wax off" method. Almost bought a cordless drill to raise and lower the jacks, but doing it manually is exercise too. Just keep your body moving.

I have a personal trainer/task-master who has a waggly tail and requires vigorous walks and exercise (or else I pay the price of getting my leg chewed off in the evening).

I walk every aisle of Wal-Mart when we lot-dock. Thank goodness they are open 24/7. Walk the perimter of every rest area a couple of times. Walk every CG 2-3 times, twice per day/

I also invented an odd but effective work-out program for legs, buttocks and arms that I do from my adjustable co-pilot seat in the MH as we roll down the highway.

I have been a runner most of my adult life... now 60 years old and still run 3-5 miles a day while at home or on the road. Love to run in new places and in the rain...but hate the cold.

This is a great question as it's so easy to relax and just enjoy the surroundings either driving or at the new campground.

I am a full timer and I usually start with stretching (yoga with mat), followed by lifting 10 pound weights, and then outside with the skip rope. The skip rope is incredible for getting the heart rate up.
All of that takes about 30 minutes.

The rest of the day, I like to walk for 30-60 minutes in the morning and then again in the evening. On most days we will kayak for several hours or bike ride. So altogether, it keeps us in decent shape. Not as good as a gym for several hours especially adding raquetball or swimming. But...the challenge is just doing it. I find that it's so easy to get hooked into the computer or conversations with fellow campers that the exercise sometimes gets placed on hold.
