Agree with Caching........darn that hurts to say . Even our dealership said "there are LP drains on the 324, just keep looking.......they are there". Uh NO they are not. The KZ manual states too, some model use the O/S shower as the LP where it sits below the rest of the plumbing system.

Must be as SHUM says, another cost cutting measure I guess. Not that it makes much of a difference but it would be nice to know and perhaps they should advise their selling/servicing dealerships so they too know.

Wouldn't the black tank flusher gravity drain into the tank or is there a check valve somewhere in the line? There shouldn't be any water buildup in the line I wouldn't think?

There is an atmospheric break valve in that line, it's located in the back of the pantry about eye level.(Lift the lower bunk up and follow the line, it runs under the HWH then into the wall of the pantry up to the breaker then down and back out under the floor with the rest of the pipes} So technically speaking the part that leads down from it to the flusher would drain, but not the part from the hose connection to the atmospheric break.
Follow me?

I know exactly where and what you are talking about. I could never figure out what that was. What does a atmospheric break valve do?

Official answer - The purpose of the atmospheric vacuum breaker is to prevent a siphon from allowing a contaminant or pollutant into the potable water system .

That way if you left the hose attached but not on, it reduces the chances that bad tank water is drawn back into the hose and the water system it serves.

I have the low point drains in my 318BHS too. I do like some of the other changes they made in the 2010 though, particularly putting the now Jensen DVD player on the left side of the entertainment center. The way mine is, with it on the right, you cannot change the channel or increase volume without doing all kinds of reaching.

The DVD unit that came with my 09 was a huge piece of junk. Replaced 2 of them in 5 months. Aside from the fact it's a no name, bargain bin unit, KZ installed them in a cabinet with little if any ventilation. From speaking with my dealership and other owners, this is likely the reason they fail so often, they overheat and cook internally.

My dealership with a little arm twisting swapped me up into the Jensen last time around. It's wider and shorter than my OEM unit which required me to widen the hole and mod a cover plate to fill the gap, but it's a much better unit than the pre-2010 units were.

Oh, and I used some battery box vent covers (painted) in the side of the cabinet to help vent the unit.

Sorry for the derail.

It's remote control too.
Alas it's not Blu-Ray So I installed one

My pal Gman, had issues with his radio, I think they have upgraded him to the Jensen
EDIT-I see Gman beat me too it

Back OT, so the 318BHS has lowpoints for the '09 MY the 324BHS usues the outside shower for LP in 09/10, anyone verify the '10 318BHS low point drain location?

Mines a 2007. OK, now you have got me questioning it. I'll look tonight behind the black tank. It's been raining today so I'm not going to crawl under the RV.

Two questions;

1) I have a 324 and could not find any low point drains?

Actually the Spree 324BHS HAS NO "proper" low point drain, the outside shower serves as the lowpoint, I couldn't find them either, but called KZ directly and had it confirmed just this morning.

2) How do you winterize the black tank flusher if you are not blowing
with air?

An antifreeze pump works for that:
Hand Pump
OR what I intend to do is find/build a fitting that will couple the outside shower hose to the flusher inlet and pump pink through that way, also could winterize the city water connection that way too since they are side by each on the 324.

Ummm...I have a 2009 324bhs and it has two low point drains...one for the hot water and one for the cold. They are on the awning side of the camper...nesteled right behind the tires (towards the back of the camper...not the middle). It took me a while to find as well...but they are there.

OK, time for an update here. Gman and myself have been traumatizing KZ and our delaer, and I can confirm that the obve post id correct. (I didn't see it earlier or I would have looked)

About 2 feet behind the wheels on the door side of the coach, just in behind the trim skirt. Valves turn oposite ways.
