14-15.5 mpg. with camper on. It has been as low as 12 mpg. and up to 17 mpg with camper. With the bed empty, 18-19.8 mpg. I've never gotten into the 20 mpg. club, even with manual trans. I seem to get slightly lower mpg's, compared to others with the same vintage truck. I have not fiddled with the injection/fuel delivery system at all. Bone stock. Well, an upgrade intake/air filter system.
regards, as always, jefe

About 16 MPG on the highway, empty, with the 6L gasser. About 11 MPG on the highway with the camper loaded. This is running 65 to 70 MPH. If I slow down it gets better.

Hopefully you Americans can figure this out in miles and gallons.

I have a go at it:

3.7L = 1gal 4.5kmx3.7L=16.65km 16.65x.625=10.406mpg
Seems reasonable, anybody else have an idea?

Vehicle (gasser) and camper in Signature:

Average, highway/in-town travel, running 50-MPH ~ 60-MPH:

Eastern US/Canada (read: no noteworthy hill-climbing): truck alone in meticulously-tuned condition high 15.x miles per gallon in summer; high 13.x miles per gallon with camper loaded;

Western US (read: noteworthy hill-climbing at higher altitudes): truck alone in meticulously-tuned condition low 15.x miles per gallon in spring/summer; high 12.x miles per gallon with camper loaded.

Cheers,
Silver-

just got back from 8000+ mileage trip with northstar 2400# popup. went last year to alaska on 13000+ trip without anything on truck average little less than 3 mpg difference with popup on. realize depends on speed and proably both trips drove the same but popup has less wind resistant than hard side..maybe no help to you but speed on my truck makes all the difference until i started to head home i averaged right at 14 mpg but went we left arizona heading home mpg really dropped driving about 6 miles over whatever posted speed limit was and when running 80 forget the mileage but at 65 and 70 am satisfied.
just my 2 cents worth
