The Maint. crew just heated their water valve outside and it started working. They told me the only problems they have here are with the ADA compliant valves. My water hose was wrapped and it survived ok down into the 20s, but 17 degrees got it.
Anyone else told the ADA compliant water fixtures freeze worse than the regular ones?

ADA compliant how? Usually shower valves to prevent you from being burned when someone turns on the cold water in another shower. Don't think regular outside valves are made to be ADA compliant.

I am not sure exactly how they are "ADA Compliant".
It was cold out there and I did not ask any questions. Bad morning all the way around.
It does have a straight handle that pulls out and upward to turn it on, but otherwise I can't see a difference on the outside. Regardless, tonight I will have our internal tanks filled, disconnect the hose and drain it, turning their water off and it should be fine. Famous last words.
