Any Canadians travelling to the US with a pre existing health condition? Hubby has had a change in medication and we need health insurance for a trip. Do you know of any companies who provide coverage? It is a blood pressure issue.

Google "Kanetix" and complete the on-line forms. You should be able to get at least a couple of competetive quotes.

For whatever it's worth, MOST blood pressure medication is pretty cheep to purchase and a good many of the ones available are on the Walmart $4.00 prescription list with 3 months available for $10.00. Good luck / Skip

Skipnchar Not the getting the medication that is the concern it is getting out of country medical coverage for emergency hospital visits that is the issue. One visit to the ER in the USA without coverage and we can kiss our savings goodbye.

I was talking to the broker for travel insurance a couple of weeks ago. He told me most companies allow 2 conditions - but they also represented many companys.

My mom is 74 - only one med condition - $964.00 for 6 months.
