We traveled north on I75 yesterday from Tampa to Valdosta, a distance of about 220 miles.
To help keep awake and pass the time we counted to see what was most popular. Class A's or 5th wheels. It's amazing how many people are heading south this time of year. This was about a 220 mile trip.
Total class A's - 262
Total 5th wheels - 127
Traffic was very heavy both south and north bound.

I should have waved! I was one of the 5er's. The one with the motorcycle on the front of the truck. Did you see me?

Don't recall seeing you, but did see a lot of interesting rigs including 2 helicopters and a large class A towing a car and a trailer!
Hope everyone made it to their destination safely. It was nice in warm in Tampa when we left.

The difference I suggest is the number of Class A's belong to full timers who are also wealthy enough to go south for 6 months. Count again on Jan 10th!

There are more Class As in our park than trailers or 5ers, but they are well represented too. We are virtually all snowbirds. Not all Class As cost an arm and a leg, nor are all the owners wealthy or fulltimers.
It's gorgeous in Tampa We are loving it.
