I would make them fix what's there and then add the e-track as well.

Tractor supply has them and the inserts that click in with the rings as well.

Thanks, BigJon I googled them after I saw your link. I should've asked my dad, who is a retired truck driver. I know he's seen plenty of these. But I am not so sure that's what he would call them.

Etrack on my Raptor has never had a problem. You'll be sorting out problems for the first couple of trips - it's a house on wheels.
We got our problems sorted out in the first couple of trips and have been basically trouble free for the last 10k or so

Did they include the e-track straps as well? Did you have to go aout and purchase your own?

E-track in our Ragen. There is a small light duty D-ring right by the wheel well -if this is the style you tied the big bikes to -it will never take that kind of load....

This is how it is backed up underneath floor. Yes, I am an overkill kind of guy but it won't fail.....

A decent place to see and order what king of tie down options there are is Mackie Enterprises. They are on ebay too.

Most Truck and Fleet supply houses will have this stuff available and on the shelf.

Ours came with the e-track and we had to put it where we wanted it we got some e-track straps but we bought a few extra as well.
Havew had no issues with ours and we have had all kinds of stuff strapped all over that garage.
Sorry to hear of the issues,All rv's have them but i still wouldn't trade my Rappy for anything!

I am just sayin... those tracks and d rings were meant for a 300lb off road vehicle. For a Gold Wing or Harley, you would probably want something a heck of a lot beefier.

I didnt think Raptors came with D-rings, mine didnt. The dealer installed the e-track system according to the places I requested. I used to have an 26' attitude and the d-rings pulled up from the floor too. The e-tracks seem beeter as they have alot of screws down in the floor.

What are e-tracks? Please show a picture if you can, I'd like to see one. I will post some pics of the mess I have once I get a chance. But I am not about to fix these myself. I am going to make the dealer or Keystone. I would like to show them those e-tracks if they will work better than what I have, they need to fix it some how. These d rings they put in the 2010's are crap. The actual d-ring is not even welded together at the bottom of the "piano" hinge. So a lateral force will easily pull it apart. These things should hold 2000 lbs at any force put on them straight up or lateral.

Is this your first RV? I ask because when you buy new, you will almost ALWAYS have a bunch of stuff that needs fixing. If you take it back to the dealer, most of the time you will not happy with the quality of the work. I fix things myself.

There are many different D-rings that are designed differently. Some only handle 500 lbs. Others can handle 5,000 lbs. There is no way I would have tied down something as heavy has a Goldwing on ANY factory tie down points. I woudl have added my own. You can use E-track or you can find better D-rings. What matters is how they are supported from underneath. You saw a picture above on how they supported the E-track from behind. Overkill! I would say so! But, that will never pull through. I like that!

I added a bunch (15) of D-rings in my trailer. I did not want to have to step on E-track while we were using the trailer. I mounted the D-rings so they were flush with the floor. I used 1/4" bolts and a piece of angle iron underneath. No way they will pull through. And I bought a heavier duty D-ring than came standard.

I would suggest you do the work yourself, except the warranty work on the furnace.

Good luck! It does get better...

Relax and welcome to the world of RV'ers. First you should be using EZ track for that type of bike. I have three sections in mine and use a bike pro chock. You will have things go wrong with any unit from time to time,no RV is perfect. Enjoy the unit and don't get yourself aggravated.

What Dieselgem said! I have the same set up as his and hauled my wing 1000's of miles with no problems. An added hint-- see your Honda dealer and ask for the tiedown straps that come from Honda when they deliver the bikes-- the long ones allow you to use the e track D rings and no soft ties. My dealer just throws them away-- Honda does not want them back. That eliminates a possible breaking point. I use 2 on each side up front and 1 around the trailer hitch to prevent the back from moving.
Good luck with your dealer issues
