The OP has apparently never been to Quartzsite. So as to lessen the confusion: the RV Show, Craft Show and Car Show all use the same "big tent" on different dates and have done so for several years. There are several other events in open areas nearby. The tent shows draw big crowds but they are not our favorites. You will find a greater variety of things to spend your money on and better prices at the other shows.

One year, the tent was erected during the week before the RV show started. It was interesting to watch.

But, another year, we got there and it was already up the week before.

I used to love watching the elephants help put up the tent when the circus came to town. Sometimes got a free pass for helping. Unfortunately, "helping" often meant shoveling up elephant doo doo.
