Wouldn't own one if you gave it to me.

Nope. Need a family car. That ain't one. What good it a car that gets 45 MPG, if you have to take 2 or 3 of them to go somewhere. Not much saving there.

No...not even a Honda Fit or a Toyota Yaris which is about as close in size as we get in the North American market. I wouldn't buy a Fit or a Yaris either...too small for me.

Agreed. The last few years of the Neon were very good mechanically, but Daimler penny pinched on the interior as they did with all Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep product in the last few years. My wife's 2004 Neon isn't as nice inside as our old 95 version was. But mechanically, the 04 is superior.

Will this vehicle save Chrysler? I don't know, but something like that would have sold like mad back when fuel was $4 a gallon. Chrysler had, and still has, nothing that could even match the discontinued Neon for fuel economy. Pitiful!

I think this Fiat vehicle, and vehicles like the upcoming Chrysler 200C which drew lots of attention at the spring auto shows will pave the way for Chrysler's future. It is going to be a tough year as the current products are phased out and new models are brought in. But I look forward to reading the 5 year plan in a few days to see what the future holds.

Well, certainly not in PINK!!!

(or maybe it's just bad lighting?)

But let's face it, when the oil does finally start running out (and gas is $15 a gallon), it's either that, or walk. Given that choice, I'd rather drive the pink sissy car.

No, it will not save Chrysler and No, I would never buy one.

I would much prefer a Ford Focus.

Whether or not it will save Chrysler is not up to you personally, or me either.

However, being a dyed in the wool Ford man that you are no doubt, I'm quite sure you would prefer a Focus. I will admit Focus has improved a great deal as the first few years were ugly and unreliable. The newest models are at least better looking, I have no idea about the reliability, I'm sure it has improved as well.
