I'm glad I'm not the only one with a dog that barks at the pantry when it's supper time.

We were traveling during the time change so all their internal clocks were out-of-wack because they were not on a routine; Middletown MD to Georgetown OH (south of Cincinnati) and back two weekends in a row.

my cats are mixed up. they are still on old time. I used to say to my Junior when we would turn the clocks ahead he would be up an hour early and I would call it woods time because we found him in the woods and I think he was up hearly to protect himself.

They still want to go out at their regular time no matter what that clock says. Also when the stomach says it's time to eat, "IT'S TIME". Don't care what some stupid clock says.

You all are saying that dogs can learn time.

Well, I used to have a stove with a timer and a bell. I'd set it for a nap and say: "Guess, I'll make it a half an hour".

Then once, one the road, I had slept badly, thus pulled off into a public picnic area. The spots were nicely separated. I tied the pups onto the truck, crawled onto the front seat, put my purse under my head and left both front doors open. Then I said: "wake me in a half an hour, no matter what."

In exactly 30 minutes, certain mouths, opened put themselves over my hair and pulled gently. & woke me up.

Seriously!! Not the present pair, but Rocco and Sarda.

& I, I took the road less travelled by.

Well, we have crossed 2 times zones in a week, then DST kicked in. None of us really knows what time it is. Neal has just taken to standing in the kitchen facing the cupboard doors behind which we keep his food in the hope that he will get lucky.

We fall asleep at 7 o'clock in the evening and are up at 5. Will it ever end?
