I have ordered a ready brake to install on my 2005 CR-V and have a question.
Where does the cable come out of the firewall in the engine compartment? Above or below the steering rack?
Thanks -- Chuck

The cable hole needs to be just above the top of the brake pedal, which I believe is below the steering column.

With the overcrowded engine compartments on todays cars I'd never try to run a cable through for the brake actuation, much easier to run a small air hose!
