I have ordered a ready brake to install on my 2005 CR-V and have a question.
Where does the cable come out of the firewall in the engine compartment? Above or below the steering rack?
Thanks -- Chuck

The cable hole needs to be just above the top of the brake pedal, which I believe is below the steering column.

I believe you have the answer, just below the stering column, it'll be the same on the engine side as the interior.

With the overcrowded engine compartments on todays cars I'd never try to run a cable through for the brake actuation, much easier to run a small air hose!
