Hi guys,

I have a few battery quetions.
1. Are the Lifeline batteries the best way to go for a one battery set up in a Lance 820?
2. What size will fit into the battery compartment?
3. Where is the best place to purchase?

Thank you very much,
John

Lifeline batteries are good, but I feel Trojans are better.
Trojan Battery Company
The dealers can be found in the web site. The 12volt Side of Life
that gives all measurements and wiring

I have a grp. 31 in my 845 . This link will give you an idea of the size of grp. 31's .
Measure the opening of your battery compartment door . I added a second grp. 31 in my usused genny compartment . Some people add a second battery in the bed of the truck or under the hood if it will fit .

Trojans are good batteries but Lifeline Batteries are better in my opinion. I dont have a dealer close to me so I buy them from the company. They will ship them to your door. Price is better going direct too...

I have had a Lifeline Group 31 in my Lance for 6 years. I have not opened the battery compartment door one time in those 6 years, as Lifeline batteries are sealed and there is nothing you can or should do to them. Cost more to buy but worth it to me. Hoping to get 2 or 3 more years out of it.

Happy Camping.

sears Die Hard Platinum series are supposed to be re-branded Odyssey AGM batteries (at a much cheaper price). If you can find the size you want, those will be better than the flooded wet cell batteries from Trojan/Lifeline.

My guess is that you're going to want to edit your response seeing how Lifelines are AGM batteries, not wet cells. http://www.lifelinebatteries.com/rv.php

Six years...that's good information. Thank you.

Have you done this recently? I tried buying direct from Lifeline a couple of months ago and was told they do not sell to individuals, only to distributors.
