Now that the EC-30W (wireless remote for Onan generators) has been out for a while what has your experience been in using it???

We boondock alot and I want something to be able to start the generator in the morning (without having to get out of bed) but mostly to have it for when we need the A/C when boondocking.

When you use it to run the AC does the generator kick on first, then the AC and after the AC kicks off does the generator run for a short time and then kick off?

Also how easy was the installation? (expecially for those of us who are nowhere being mechanically inclined)
