We've spent some time here looking for an answer to this question, but have had no luck.
We spend most of our time in dry climates -- AZ in the winter, UT in the summer in our Class A.
Since we're originally from New England, we've not had to pay attention to parts drying out. We're wondering if there's anything we should be doing to preserve the rubber around our windows.

The best all around rubber protectant on the market is 303 Aerospace Protectant. It's available at some auto supply stores and I just saw it at my local Camping World. It's kind of pricey, but well worth the cost.

I 2nd the 303. Use it on slide out gaskets, door and tires. Haven't tried it around windows, but can't see it would hurt. Others have used it on vinyl decals too.

Spray the 303 on a rag or sponge, wipe all the rubber, ABS plastic trim, tires, decals, roof vents, fiberglass storage hatches, etc. You can use it on painted surfaces as well.

Does the 303 clean the rubber and protect it or just protect it?

Is it a silicone spray? It's not a petroleum based product is it?

It's not a petroleum based product. It cleans and protects rubber and plastic surfaces. Also very good for tires.
