Can anyone recommend a good air compressor that will air up my RV tires that is somewhat compact to fit in the storage compartment. I have searched on line and the ones I have viewed are either very large or expensive. Thanks you.

Get the Porter Cable compressor (120 volt AC)that is rated at 150psi max. with the 6gal.? pancake tank.It works for me.
Also check SEARs and Home Depot or the Internet.

I bought this unit while I had a stick house, but it seems to work for me. I took the black handle off of the unit to make it a little smaller and I store it in the front cargo bay of the 5th. We do live in the 5th full-time and have used it several times. We have aired up tires, water toys and use it to blow out our A/C units.

I didn't see that previous post on compressors, think that answers the question. Thanks everyone. Bob.

Howdy!

I have a Sears tankless compressor that works great for my 5er and MDT.

Perhaps all you need is an inflator. I bought a 120 volt inflator at Sears, that is currently on sale for $70, that easily goes up to an actual 130 lbs. A 12 volt inflator is too slow and noisy whereas this one is quite fast and not too noisy. It is light and takes up very little space.
