If you are coming down I95 and continuing past Jax, 9A is much shorter and less traffic. 295 is 39 miles, 9A is 25.

Took 9A two weeks ago. Much better than straight 95 or 295.
As with all cities, avoid rush hour if possible.

Before you criticize someone, always walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you DO criticize them, you will be a mile away, and have their shoes.

9A is much better. Some repaving and roadwork on the extreme north end but only minimal delays

If you happen to be going to St. Augustine, get off 9A onto Butler Blvd east and take A1A south into St. A. It's a much prettier and more relaxing ride. Camp on!
