Just ordered a 2010 Lance 1880 trailer from closest dealer to me, located 700 miles away in Michigan. I plan on picking it up in 4 weeks and camping my way back home. It comes standard with 4 aluminum 14" wheels and frame mounted spare. Inside fresh water tank and front diamond plate. I ordered every option available including stove/oven/cover, microwave,g/e h/w heater,am/fm stereo-12 v, 19" lcd/dvd tv-12v,antenna,extra fantastic vent, air conditioning, front rock guard window,15' power 12v awning. Extra options include from their truck camper series a 2 stage 15/22,000 BTU furnace, 12v heat pads on black and grey tanks, dinette access doors, extra 12 volt outlets, dual AGM group 27 batteries, 2x30 propane tanks. Total price was $23,700 less $4,000 discount= $19,700 out the door. Because Lance has been making truck campers for years they can offer from the factory some of the extras only found in their campers, like the 12 volt appliances, heat pads and the 2 stage furnace which has a quiet mode. In addition their insulation and fabrication is top notch. I can't wait and I'm already ordering from Camping World and making my trip plans, including printing out the pdi list. As for ordering from CW you might want to check around locally before you order. We have an RV supply store near us and they are cheaper than CW. I learned about them after making a trip to CW, never been to CW again.

That is great news! I have a friend who is looking to get the 16.8 with big slide out. Lance really does come loaded with options. Have fun with it and have fun shopping for all the accesories.

Congratulations! Having had two large Lance truck campers, I'm sure you will be happy with the quality and reliability. I always thought Lance should be making trailers...Enjoy!

DeutscheMan,
Are you familiar with the Lance 2 stage furnace and if so is it nice?

I'm not sure if the campers had a two stage furnance or not. I never paid much attention because they always worked great. My understanding of a two stage furnance is that they run quieter in milder temperatures as they are only running at about 60%. They don't kick on to 100% unless demands call for it. I think that would be a "nice to have" in any trailer.
