We overnighted there in 2008 on our way to Zion, nice little campground overlooking the lake.

Clint,
What "Not a Clue" said!!!
Have stayed there a couple of times (March is a good time). Didn't fish but if you're considering fishing could be worth while. Last time, guys were doing pretty well -- that was April of '06.

Yes, nice little park, but for my money the best spot in the area is Sand Hollow State Park. Downsides are that it is still new, so no trees, etc. but the sites are all FHU, spacious, and it has yet to be crowded while we were there (winter months). Rest rooms new and nice. While is essentially an OHV park, OHVs, ATVs etc cannot be used in the site areas and must be transported to the trail section, so they do not affect the tranquility of the living areas. The views are commensurate with the area, though there are no waterside spots. We like it as a base camp. The spot we usually take has a view of much of the valley and some beautiful sunsets.
Snow Canyon is nice to take a walk, but the sites for FHU are very tight as suggested by another poster. There are many nice spots for a walk within 50 miles.

Like ramblemutt I perfer Sand Hallow but Quail Creek is closer to I-15. I don't think you can go wrong with either one.
