Might be getting a job in North Las Vegas, about 1 mile from the strip. Any thoughts on where to full-time? I don't think I would mind circulating through several spots each year. Will probably take trips back to CA every month or 2.
Thanks for any thoughts (funny or otherwise),

Check this one out, it is in North LV and on the strip. Has good ratings in www.rvparkreviews also. http://www.hprvp.com/ t's called the Hitching Post, we would have stayed there but being retired military we stayed at Nellis down the road. There is a Super Walmart close by.

We are going to check out the http://www.vegasrvlots.com/listings.html this month. We leave in four days for 3 week trip to Sacramento, Indio, and Las Vegas. Do you think these lots are overpriced? They are about the same price as the ones in Indio which start at $112k. I wonder how negotiable these lots are...

We stayed one short night (got there late and left early) at the Hitching Post a couple of years ago. It wasn't bad, the people were friendly. I'd stay there again.

Tyr Roadrunner on Boulder Highway - it's a nice RV park, the area is a bit rough but not dangerous and it's about as close to the strip as you can get for a decent price - their monthly is around $350. You need to see how convenient it will be for you.
Remember that getting around Vegas can be a bit of a nightmare at rush hour so you might want to choose based on location rather than price/condition.

Las Vegas Motorcoach Resort is very high end - some wonderful lots if you have a Prevost or Essex. Unfortunately the area is getting a little crowded with new construction so to me, it's less desirable that it was a few years ago.
Check out their terms and conditions and monthly dues and I don't think they are negotiable at all based upon my experiences with them, unless you are buying from a private party and I have a feeling they have that covered.
It's a wonderful place....at a price.

We liked this one for our short stay and there were long term people in there also. Their pool is resort class and one of the best I've seen.

We full time in Boulder City at Boulder oaks RV park. It is in my opinion the finest in the LV area. We have a beautiful view of Red Mountain and Lake Mead. The lots are privately owned and some are rented out through the leasing office at $700 per month. Includes full 50 amp hookups and Cox cable. I drive 25 miles to work at Caesars Palace and it is well worth it.
