We bought a new TH is summer, Sportster 29P and a Suzuki Burgman 650 scooter and we're leaving Nov 29th or a couple days earlier depending on the weather forecast south of Pendleton.
We're spending 4 days in Pahrump, a couple in Laughlin and a week in each of Lake Havasu City and Ehrenberg prior to landing in Q Dec 18th. We plan to leave Q the last week of Jan 2010 and spend at least a couple days in Yuma and then travel back to BC with an ETA around Feb 1st.
If anyone would like to travel together towards NV from the Okanogan please pm me. We plan to boondock overnite in Pendleton and Winnemucca.
And if there's anyone who's in Q alone like us, or otherwise and might be interested in meeting and relying on new friends pm me as well.
We plan on stayin in la Posa North as I understand WIFI is avail thru RVLOGON.Plse advise if u know this is the case or if u know another provider or LTVA with wifi service.

Last season there was a vendor supplying wifi service for a fee in the area of La Posa North. No way to tell if they will be there in 2010 but a good chance they will. Verizon Broadband service is also available around Quartzsite. We got good results with our Air Card.

We'll be leaving from Chilliwack sometime next week. We plan to go to Mexico for Christmas/New Year's and land in Q probably the 1st week of Jan. Post your GPS coordinates and we'll look you up.

Hi, we have been driving south from Kelowna for quite a few years now.
This is where we stay. maybe it will help you plan.
leave Kelowna around 9:00am
1)stay at Oasis RV & Golf at Ephrata, Washington..get in mid afternoon.
2) leave Ephrata early
stay at Oregon Trails, Baker City Oregon..get in mid
afternoon.
3) leave around 8:am Baker City
stay at Cactus Pete's, Jackpot Nevada, get in in afternoon.
4) leave early (try to leave a day break
stay at Shell Garage (has full hookups) Ash Springs
From here we head straigt to Parker Arizona
I hope this helps give you a few options...we have always had good
weather in Nov...but near La Grand it can get foggy.
Safe travels and I hope there is no snow because we leave in Nov. also

Hey Happy.... just got to vegas partly following your route! Stayed at Cactus Pete's friday, water turned off too cold, nice park though! Get to Ash Springs early as it fills up early. We got there late and there wasn't much left.
