Tom and I were born and raised in central Illinois and met while working at Caterpillar. We were transferred by Caterpillar to NC in 2001 and then transferred again to FL in the Spring of 2007. I retired from Cat in 2003 after 30 years -- Tom plans to work about 9 more years.

We started our RV adventures by renting a Gas MH in 2004. Though we both had some experience with RVing (when we were young) the rental trip was our first together and we loved it. After that trip, we started an intense research effort on what to buy and finally decided on a new Allegro Bus. We ordered it from Kings Campers in Wausau, WI and took delivery in September of 2005. We had a blast bringing our Bus home from WI and exploring NC and nearby states in 05/06. We now look forward to thoroughly exploring Florida. Our dream is to travel across the U.S., however, places out West must wait until Tom retires. But the good news is we won't have to wait til retirement to visit the Keys!
