RE: Circuit Breaker box in Class C?

You probably have a Magna-junk 6300 series converter/breaker panel. Look for a brown rectangular panel (probably under the fridge) that is held on with two plastic tabs. Turn the tabs and pull the cover off. Inside there will be your 12 volt fuses and your 120vac breakers. As for the GFI's check the bathroom outlet and the kitchen outlets. If any have pushbuttons on them then they are GFI outlets. They will also be rectangular and not oval like standard outlets.

RE: Texas Hwy 77 south to Rockport.

Taking the Anderson Loop and going AROUND SA (route 1604) will miss 99% of the traffic of San Antonio even.
Not a good idea taking 1604 around the city anymore. The only time 1604 is not crowded anymore is early morning (before 6am) and late evening (after 8pm).

RE: Crimp on electrical Butt connectors

I use a ratcheting crimper designed for insulated terminals and never had a problem. They have three color coded holes for the color of the terminal and indents so you know which way to put the terminal into the tool.

RE: Motorhome stuck in mud

When i buried mine up to the axles in the yard it took two days to get it back onto the concrete pad in the backyard. I tried the carpeting, it became a muddy, slippery mess. I ended up jacking up the RV and placing boards under the tires front and rear. Even they started sinking in and cracking and mine only weights 10k Lbs.

RE: Do I need to Winterize if I live in San Antonio Texas?

I do remember when we got 13 inches of snow. Got up in the morning and built a snowman. He was melted by the afternoon. There were other times when the temp dipped into the teens and they had water freeze warnings out. Afternoons got into the mid thirties. Not very many of thoses in the last 20+ years i've been living here.

RE: Do I need to Winterize if I live in San Antonio Texas?

Never winterized any of my trailers or the RV. I just watch the weather and if it going to be below freezing for a couple days i'll go out and drain the wh tank and the fresh water tank. Otherwise it sits full and ready for a trip.

RE: Replacing headliner

Yes, i did mine a couple years ago. Check my old posts. I pulled out every cabinet that i could. On the edges where the ceiling meets the wall i left a little extra material and just pushed it into the corner with a putty knife.

RE: Red Tide on TX Coast?

Walking the beach might be a little hard. It would be more like dodging the dead fish while trying to walk. I have been down there during a red tide and the dead fish wash up on the shore. Also the smell from the dead fish is not very pleasing and if the red tide is still going on it can iritate the eyes, nose, and throat. Check with one of the local News or newspapers for reports. One is www.caller.com

RE: water heater starting problems

Check and clean the gas tube. You could have a spider web or net built up in it.

RE: Television

The problem with the TV is either cold solder joints, cracked circuit board, or leaky capacitors. They can be repaired, but sometimes it is easier to just buy a new TV.

RE: Jeep Liberty 2wd AT

A 2wd Jeep Liberty can be towed 4 down, BUT you will need a driveshaft disconnect so you don't burn up the transmission.
