RE: Step one. Bought the van.

Hey, sounds like a nice project! Got one myself that I have been working on off and on for three years! :o It was 90% finished last year, and I haven't touched it since... health issues, squirrels ate into wiring under van, etc., etc,.. more excuses are really necessary... blame the rest on severe procrastination. Anyway, my point is that you CAN do all the work - unless maybe if you want a top installed. Look at my project here. Terry converted a couple of Fords... see his 2007 over here. Bob posted a few pics of his in this thread.

RE: 2002 Pleasureway Traverse

The Traverse is a great rig - and that IS a good price. As mentioned earlier, I'd try to haggle a bit, but I'd still not let it pass by at that price. My Traverse had the switch on the dash for the rear air also. It's probably installed in all base vans whether the air is installed or not so's that if factory style rear air is added later, the dash won't have to be removed to run wiring and install the switch. The factory rear air will not work in a converted Traverse.

RE: Post Your 'B' Sightings Here

the rear-most of those vent / doors is probably for the generator. RT put the genset under the rear bed for a time

RE: Pleasure Way yahoo group

Well, it is the Pleasure-Way Owners Group... VIN # is easiest way to verify. I have seen many unmoderated yahoo groups get spammed so hard that they had to be abandoned. Their excercise of caution seems warranted, IMO.

RE: 2006 Roadtrek 190 4x4

Look at Tim's (tfrazie) older posts. Keyword: quigley Author: tfrazie Class B Forum Older than 1 year His Quigley converted Roadtrek was the first, I believe - I think his was an '04. His posts contain LOTS of information about the conversion, discussions with Roadtrek and Quigley about the conversion process and his thought / feelings about how things worked out. He even had some videos of beach action posted at one time, but I don't know if those are still 'live' or not. Good Luck

RE: Best place to buy a AGM battery

contact Randy at BestConverter.com I bought my AGM battery, converter, breakers, voltminder and several other things from him. I found a lot of high revommendations for 'em in the Truck Camper, Class C and Class B groups. A couple of years ago they helped me with a problem on a major Holiday. ... can't say enuff' good about 'em.

RE: Question for the "CVC" group.

Rodger, as Moderator of this forum (and my friend), I have never felt that you pushed Roadtrek over other brands. Quite often, you do direct "non-B" threads to the forums in which they belong... and I'm entirely in favor of that. There have always been a few that didn't wanna admit that their rigs were not B's.... oh, well. You do a fine job - 'specially considering what you get paid. ;) Thanks... and keep up the good work!

RE: Replacing Converter In My Bee

I went with the 3 stage WFCO for my project. Either way, I HIGHLY recommend Randy at BestConverter.com..... truly superior service.
