Took the coach over to have the LPG tank filled as well as a couple of portable tanks. Getting ready to head to San Diego for Thanksgiving week.

RE: What did you do to your Class A MH today???

This weekend I waxed and polished my coach. I also got up on top and applied Dicor on any suspicious crack on any caulking. Now we are at a campground in Williams, Arizona with high winds. I might just stay here a couple of days until those high winds stop. This is where some RVers get a train to go to the Grand Canyon.
What's the temperature like in Williams? We're driving the RV out to Flagstaff in a couple of weeks?

Took the folks' coach to the truck stop to fill up the tank with diesel, $2.67/gal...not too bad.

Parked the MH in front of the stick house so we could use the facilities. Our house blew the water main, so no water for a couple of days.

RE: RVP Thermostat '06 Jayco Seneca

I have the same thermostat on my Greyhawk. Ours usually reset back to the factory default of 72 degrees, sometimes it didn't come back on at all! On one trip it stayed off all night and it was 50 degrees in the coach...Brrrr!!!
After almost 2 years, I think we finally figured it out. It was a loose wire behind the breaker panel. It has worked flawlessly for the past 6 months, (fingers crossed).

RE: Seneca Inverter Help

To all Seneca owners:
Take the cover off of your fuse panel in the bedroom. Tighten ALL of your white ground wires on their grounding block and you'll save yourself a lot of time on trouble shooting. Every one of mine were loose and I also had lost power for my front TV. This was the problem.
+1 on that. This was the cause of my intermittent thermostat operation.

RE: RV site for Mt St. Helen's & Seattle

In the Seattle area, I would highly recommend Lake Pleasant in Bothell, WA. It's about 20 minutes North of Seattle. Here's a recent thread:

RE: What did you do to your Class C MH today???

I'm embarrased to say, but today is the first day I used the "city water" mode on our coach. For the almost 3 years we've owned our coach, we've spent over 100+ nights in it. Most of those have been in RV Parks with hookups. We've always used the water pump!!! I read a "water pump" thread here on RV.net and WHAM!!! It hit me that we could stop using the water pump when hooked up to a water source.
Learn something new everyday. : )

Scraped and scrubbed 3500 miles of bugs and road grime off the coach. Man, that was a lot of work! Looks pretty though.

RE: Jayco Seneca Changes (Duramax 6.6 Diesel)

Al, how long is the cord you purchased? Also, was it a clothes dryer cord? Many thanks.

RE: Jayco Seneca Changes (Duramax 6.6 Diesel)

With regards to the big and bulky shore power cord, I am going to build one that is approximately 12-15' in length. The problem I have with my shore power cord now is that it is so long that it makes it a challenge to maneuver it around, especially when it's cold. Most of the RV Parks and campgrounds we go to have the power pedestal placed so close to the RV that 12-15' should be plenty. On that rare occasion I need a longer one, I still have my original 50-footer. Here's a link:
