RE: Hitch Mounted Cargo Carrier Perfect For A 'B'

We purchased our hitch mounted carrier from Cabela's. First one we bought was level with the hitch and ended up so low that it would drag in and out of driveways. Returned it and purchased the carrier for ATV's - has a raised hitch bar and provides the clearance needed. The previous owner had the rear shocks beefed up to carry a mobility scooter so the extra weight is not a problem.

RE: Too old to get another Travel Trailer??

At some point, towing a TT becomes more work than pleasure. We gave it up last year (we're in our 70's) and now have a Class B. After many years of DH doing all the driving, he finally has a break, I'm not afraid of the B. A Class C would give you much more room and not overwhelming to drive. Don't give up but find a way to keep the experience enjoyable.

RE: RV Barge

Many years ago, we cruised around the Sacramento Delta region on a barge with our 19ft TT. The business didn't last long because too many folks with much larger RVs had little grasp of what happens on the Delta when the tide goes out. Need I say more?? By the way, we had a great time!!

RE: campgrounds around Lowes motor speedway

KOA in Statesville is right next to the highway. Nice park but extreme traffic noise.

RE: Harlee likes it, Harlee likes it…

Our dogs like to clean up the little, narrow top, yogurt containers when we're finished. Amazing how their tongues can get to every last morsel.

RE: Another way to make DW unhappy

Years ago when jackandh2o's DD and her GF's would visit, the ants would come out of the ground to avoid the underground flood caused by abundant shower water. Our well draining septic would choke up at the mention of teenagers. Remember, Ray?
